Mangarayi (Mangarayi)

Merlan (1982: 157) describes an (apparent) verb root bada- that has only two forms (verbs normally have a rich repertoire of forms):

mari-bada-n ŋa-bada-ŋiñ
HORT-miss-3 1SG-miss-PST.PNCT
'Let it go! No matter!' 'Woops! Missed it!

As the translations indicate, these appear to be frozen forms used as exclamations, and not really viable verb forms as such.
