The Online edition of the Archi-Russian-English dictionary contains sound files, digital photos of culturally significant items and example sentences with interlinear glossing. The entries also provide morphological information sufficient to produce the whole paradigm of an Archi word. The database is queried by first selecting the language you wish to search by.

Searching by English or Russian

If you choose to search by English or Russian you can access the Archi dictionary entries by selecting the initial letter of the translation of the keyword you wish to search for. Once you have selected a letter, a scrollable list of entries that start with that letter will appear. Once an item from the list has been selected, a list of corresponding Archi dictionary entries appears. There may be one of several corresponding entries, depending on the keyword chosen. Once a dictionary entry is selected, you can listen to sound files, view images of culturally significant items and navigate to entries for derivationally related lexemes. Phonologically similar items can be accessed from a scrollablable list of nearby entries.

Searching by Archi in Cyrillic or IPA

If you choose to search by Archi you can access the  dictionary entries by selecting the initial letter/phoneme of the keyword you wish to search for. Once you have selected a letter/phoneme, a scrollable list of entries that start with that letter will appear. Once an item from the list has been selected, you will be taken directly to the corresponding entry. While it is possible to search using the Cyrillic orthography for Archi, any item selected in this way links through to entry with the headword transcribed in IPA.
