Alphabetic order

Items in the dictionary are listed in alphabetic order in the local orthography. The order is:

The voiced plosives have fricative allophones but are written consistently as 'b', 'd' and 'g'. The rhotic has an allophone [d], and this is written variably as 'r' or 'd'.

Sources

This dictionary is compiled from secondary sources and a small amount of primary data collected in the field by Bill Palmer in 2006. The seconary material varies widely in quality and quantity. Details will be added to this page soon.
